This fit the pretty nicely. The outer pocket can easily fit a wallet, sunglasses, and keys. The side pocket is lined with softer polyester and can fit a water bottle horizontally, maybe even two stacked on top of each other, though this would make the bag harder to close. You can find that You usually just throw the water bottle in bottom of the main compartment instead. The outer material is water resistant. The inner material feels like a smoother plastic.
